Fire Safety
Posted on Oct 15th, 2025
A recent incident at the park regarding the public fire pits has led us to this reminder.  PLEASE remember to put out any kind of fire before walking away.  Especially in dry conditions, fires can spread quickly.  Thank you.
City Councilman update
Posted on Oct 1st, 2025

My name is Shannon Minnaar, and I serve as the City Councilor for the Northeast District as well as a member of the Plan Commission. I’m reaching out regarding a promise I made to a constituent to inform neighborhoods about the subarea plan for the Meridian Corridor. With that said, the City of Carmel has made extensive efforts to ensure its citizens are well-informed. Articles have been published in the Carmel Current, the Indy Star, and the IBJ, providing thorough coverage. Additionally, the City has utilized its social media platforms and issued public notices to further communicate and engage with the community.
While this plan may not apply to you or your neighborhood, you may know someone in the surrounding area. If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share this information with them, as I do not have a comprehensive list of HOA Board members.
Below, you’ll find links to videos of past meetings and the information packet for the area plan. If you have any comments or questions, please email BButler@carmel.in.gov. This will ensure that all Plan Commissioners can review any correspondence from neighbors.

Everything is done via email.  If you are looking for a way to step up and help your community, this is a great way to do so!  Please contact Tammy at Ardsley with any questions or interest, tlamartz@ardsleymgmt.com.  Thank you!

Lake Safety
We would just like to remind parents to have a talk with their children regarding pond safety during the winter months.  We have received a few calls from residents with regards to kids walking on the ponds.  As we all know you can never trust the thickness of ice and the weight it can actually hold.  The ponds are snow covered and in some areas it is hard to determine that there is actually a pond there.

Please take a moment and discuss pond/ice safety with your kids, teens and young adults.
